Seria and Roncaria
Long before the modern era, when Roscrea was inhabited by two ruling tribes, each vying for power over the land, there was Seria and Roncaria. Seria believed that magic should be used to its fullest extent, no matter the means, and that only the strongest were fit to rule. Roncaria on the other hand, believed in morals, integrity, dignity, and freedom. The two tribes warred for hundreds of years, and it became clear that Roncaria was becoming more and more advanced in their technology than their counterpart, Seria. To make matters worse for Seria, Seria was plunged into civil war, further dividing them from Roncaria. Soon, the inevitable came to be, and Seria was defeated at the hands of Roncaria. The remainder of Seria was exiled, and forever banished to return to Roscrean lands. Seria sailed to a distant island, away from the rule of Roscrea.Seria Evolves
Overtime, Seria transformed from their tribal ways into a more sophisticated society, but in doing so also changed themselves physically, by using dark magic which corrupted both themselves and their land. Turning into pale, blood thirsty humanoids, and their land turned dark and dead. They now fear the sun, due to the dark clouds that loom over their land.The Sun Stone
The Sun Stone is a mysterious artifact, that is said to be able to transfer energy from the sun itself, into any object. Created from the very gods themselves in order to control the Sun, it somehow now resides on Wold, and more specifically, in Northern Roscrea. Seria seeks control of The Sun Stone, to be able to control the sun and use its energy to their own benefit.
