The Three Foundations

The Three Foundations is a group of assassins that has a permanent base of residence in the city of Everlook in Kingdom Watchersplace. It is suspected to be that three royal nobles of the city secretly lead the organization, as the Three Foundations often take political targets and rivals of certain political figures. It is believed that the Three Foundations target the people of the city based on a sigil that is placed on the person. If a certain sigil is placed, drawn, or burned on a person, the sigil draws the presence of the bearer of the sigil to the members of the Three Foundations, and they will stop at nothing to murder the sigil bearer. A letter will then arrive to the person that placed the sigil on the murdered victim, demanding a sum of money and to drop it at a certain place in the city. The letter is marked with a drawn knife, dancer, and a hooded figure, possibly depicting the three foundations of the order, being violence, gracefulness, and stealth. Once the money is placed in the assigned location of the letter, the contractor leaves the area and never to create the sigil on another person again. If the money is not sufficient enough or has not arrived at the location, the person that received the letter would then be found dead days later. It is unknown how one could possibly join the Three Foundations. The city guard of Everlook has an entire special division, known as the Righteous Blades, who are dedicated to rooting out the foundations, to finally destroy the order and their safehouse within the city.
