The humans dominate the land of Roscrea on the Continent of Archtun in the World of Wold. They are a hardy people That face many enemies. Whether it be the wild tribes of the south, or the vile vampires and their island. Or their greatest threat, The Black Sail fleet that would burn down all of Archtun. The humans have endured many hardships going back the the very beginning of Wold. The nation is divided by 7 kingdoms, but all kingdoms agree to unite their armies and serve under one high king while still being separate from each kingdom. Each kingdom specializes in one area of expertise. Such as lumber, Mining, training, navy, and etc. Without all 7 kingdoms working together, the humans of Roscrea would surely failHistory of Humans.
Humans were one of the first species created in Wold. They quickly built many cities near the coast of current-day Roscrea. But infighting caused by politics made the humans have a civil war. A section of humans fought the rest. These humans were the experts of navy. They built hundreds of ships to fight the other humans. But they would eventually fail and be exiled out of Roscrea. These humans would be the Black Sail. The humans continued in peace for hundreds of years after. Building great cities and armies, they were the most powerful than their neighboring species of Dwarf, Orc, and Elf, which they started to contact with. But ships have started to dissapear off the coast of Roscrea, sightings of strange ships have been reported by trader ships, the wild men of the south have become more violent, and now one of the 7 kingdoms threaten to leave the other kingdoms.Relations With Other Races
Humans are mostly independent from aid of other races. They have never had any major wars with the other races of Archtun.Dwarves
The humans have a border quo with the Dwarves along with open borders, to ensure a safe border between the two races. Trade is rare between the two races and they both leave each other to their own political interests. The dwarven king and the human High king have only met a few times to manage border disputes, minor trade deals, and to discuss Spices.Elves
The Elves of Evermist hold isolation between all the races of Archtun. But they still have open borders for their people to travel the lands of Archtun.Orcs
The humans and Orcs have never had good communications. With minor skirmishes in the past, and even a small war. The humans and orcs leave nothing but an open border to each other purely for the good of their citizens. The huamns and orcs still have grudges that are slowly fading. But for now, they keep a stern eye on each other.Religion
The humans of Roscrea worship of the gods of Order, and strength. These gods being Stran, and On'or. The humans are sure to have temples in every city to these gods. The gods give their blessings of great armies, peace, and prosperity. surly the humans success must be from the gods. Many other gods have tried to capture Roscrea for themselves, but the gods Stran, and On'or have always protected their people. This isn't the first time that these gods have worked together, the dwarves also worship these gods with other gods.Naming Traditions
