Ulthrank
The Ulthrank, also known as the Ice Demons, is a semi-bestial species that were once believed to be far less savage but were transformed when an Eislanian ship summoned a large clod that covered Miz'gan, the homeland of the Ulthrank, with snow for over three hundred years. The Ulthrank now live as large ice demons, that live within the caves and the ice castle in the middle of Miz'gan. They raid the Kathleen Islands constantly and contest their ownership of the dwarves. They also raid the northern Coast of Guilnile as well. The Ulthrank are known to carry heavy blades of sharp ice unlike any ice found in Archtun. It is known as perfect ice, which can give any being frostbite just by touching it. It can slice through metal and flesh like butter. It cannot be melted as well. The Ulthrank are described as large and furry, which fat, padded hands that are greyish black. The fur of the Ulthrnak is known to go more grey closer to the ends of its limbs. Its face has three eyes, each going left to right. Its nose is broad and flat, and its teeth are sharp. It constantly walks with a hunched back and grunts with every step. The Ulthrank are able to make special equipment, known as Icecraft, in which they can construct many different things of ice that could not be physically possible.
The Frozen Raid
The frozen raid occurred when a large fleet of Ulthrank came with their ice ships and raided Malatata, Evermist, Guilnile, and Roscrea in numbers not seen before. The raid was a surprise and brutal, and thousands were killed on the first wave. The Ulthrank were on the verge of arriving at the countryside of Castle Roncore when the Order of Sunhpler invented the Sun Stone, by imbuing the power of the sun within the stone, which was able to melt the Ulthranki perfected ice, and cause them immense pain. The Sunstone was copied into lesser versions and passed down to the orks, dwarves, and elves, who defeated their invading Ulthranki as well. The Sun Stone was eventually given to the northern kingdoms of Roscrea to push the remaining Ulthranki into Guilnile. The Sun Stone was lost during battle, and never found to this day.
