Crusader

For centuries, Uskaria Theocracy has used Crusaders as a means of traveling worship, regardless of how unknown the city or town is in another country or barren land. A crusader's main job is to convince people living in other countries to join their order, Oracles of the Burning Eye. These people believe their god, Xaion, is watching over them at all times.

Career

Qualifications

While a Crusader is a rank within the order, it is also a profession one can choose outside of the typical hierarchy, and one must be qualified to join. To qualify, all members of the order must have knowledge of their religion. However, those of the Crusaders must be ever present in studying their religion. Practice makes perfect, as they say. A Crusader must also not have any physical disabilities, such as being wheelchair-bound or having a limp. Crusaders are adventures seeking to pass along the knowledge of their faith and how people are doomed if they don't receive help. They must also have openness to deal with strangers and people who turn them down.

Perception

Purpose

by Amelia Nite (Stable Diffusion)
Crusaders spread their lord's word as if doomsday is about to begin and people need salvation from the wrath of Izegar, the Eldritch Expanse. Their main goal is to convert people from other faiths and present them with options of eternal happiness and worthiness. The Burning Eye is forever watchful and the Crusaders proudly wear white robes to resemble the white flames of healing. Crusaders try to tell strangers about the white flames and what they mean.

Social Status

Crusaders are considered a middle rank within the order, right next to the Creed rank. Once someone has joined the Crusaders, they are part of the sect forever, loyal to only their god and their Royal Prophet, unless they are given the option to rise to Arch Prodigy via order of the Royal Prophet.
