During a quest to kill a giant snake, some of the party came up on a snake trail that lead them to the destroyed town of Valkinor, where they met Aera preparing to start a bloody ceremony in the in a underground ceremony room. Aera revealed to party that it's the child of Nemee and the blood is to sustain this current body which appears to be partially decayed. Aera also hints that Loyld is one of its many followers and that the red tide is blindly doing Aera’s duty. The party tried to defeat Aera but was faced with having to save the victims of the blood ceremony while fighting off Aera pet camouflage snake. The party barely made it out while saving who they could before the ceremony room collapsed.
