Session 0: Pregame

General Summary

Lewis Tyroll
Ghost-hunter conspiracy-theorist type. If left to his own devices, he would work himself into a frenzy. One-track mind, very set in his ways. Very driven. On the island investigating ghosts at the Hotel de Haro.
Touchstones:
Jonah: Lewis' old college roomate, have a bit of a ribbing relationship. Works at the hotel de haro (rumored haunted), asked Lewis to come by and check it out.
Kevin: Closet furry, the two met when Lewis got confused and went to a furry convention. Mutual pact to tell each other when they find bigfoot, Lewis probably takes this more seriously than Kevin does.
First Change: Works self into a manic frenzy by being locked up on the island, panic attack triggered by someone surprising him at night triggers the change.
Thoughts on San Juan: Thinks the place is disappointingly touristy. Been on the island in a minor capacity, but never spent any real time here.
Chris' Character (As of yet unnamed)
Not a great home life growing up. Family was balanced on a knife's edge, not poor enough to not be able to afford food but never wealthy enough to ever really feel secure. Spent most of their life moving between shelters. A pretty pissed off person in general, gets frustrated quickly. Not a couch surfer per se, but doesn't really know how to pull themselves up. Been on the island for a month or two.
Touchstones:
Nick: Brother that left the house before the two really got to know each other, the two connected later in life. He's the kind of person who's seen the worst in life but refuses to let it drag him down. Kind but not nice, will extend help but expects the other person to put in the hard work themselves. Owns a lavender farm / agri-tourist business. (CHRIS) does field work / setup and cleanup for tourists, stays out of the way the rest of the time.
Ed (Unsure if touchstone or contact): What a white college student might think a drug dealer might act like. Sells psychadelics and hallucinogenics. Younger guy, not particularly violent. Friend who never left, for reasons (CHRIS'S CHAR) never really understood. Loudmouth, rambly. Not an asshole, but likes getting on peoples' nerves a bit.
First Change: Situation that makes them hit rock bottom. Gets in fight with brother.
Thoughts on San Juan: Really doesn't like the rich assholes on the island. Likes to take long walks through the parks.
Glenn Armstrong
Larger eurasian guy in his 30s. Soft spoken middle management type, stuck in the job forever. A little too invested to quit, not that he ever really thought about quitting. "The world's most depressing NPC". Worried about losing his job due to being stuck on the island. Feels more inconvenienced than anything else.
Touchstones:
Melissa: Came to the states for Uni, got married out of college due to visa expiring. Good friend who got engaged out of desperation. Mixed feelings about marriage, in large part thanks to the fact that marriage was a knee-jerk reaction.
Gracie: Old flame from high school. Punk-rock in your place kind of person. Got along relatively well, could have gone somewhere if Glenn had committed to it. She's now in a band, hasn't seen her in a long time.
Robert: Glenn's dad, lives in San Juan retirement home. Blind old vet, last living relative. Comes to visit every so often. Glenn is on the island to visit.
First Change: Meets Gracie again, and the mental image he built up in his head over the years clashes with the real person she is now. It goes baaaaaaadly.
Thoughts on San Juan: basically knows nothing about the island despite the fact that he comes fairly frequently.
Alexi Rostov
Grad student, daughter of Romanian immigrants. Wants to be a forensic investigator, though worries that her uncle's possible mob connections could strain that somewhat. Visiting her aunt and uncle for the summer with her girlfriend.
Touchstones:
Anastasia: Aunt, wealthy, demanding, and control freak. Alexi came out to her first, immediate family doesn't know.
Farah: College girlfriend, staying with Alexi for the summer while her parents move, unsure about staying with Alexi. Relationship is a bit more distant than what might be considered comfortable.
Nicolae: Cousin, best bud, like a brother, constantly competing.
First Change: Anastasia threatens to stop funding education if she doesn't drop "wasted classes" (sociology).
