Characters begin at 1st level. All classes and races from the AD&D 2E PHB are allowed. Kits can be introduced on an as needed basis. Additional races may be introduced as the campaign progresses. The campaign will start out in the Southwestern portion of the Yeomanry near the city of Westburn. This area is home to humans of Suel, Oeridian and Flan mix as well as halflings, dwarves, gnomes, and elves. Religious congregations dedicated to Heironeous, Phaulkon, Trithereon, Zilchus, Allitur, Norebo, Kord, Fharlanghn, Delleb, Joramy, Fortubo and the halfling and dwarven pantheons have representation. Languages include Common, Keolandish, Halfling and Elvish Think of the following when creating your character, does it fit into the campaign world, does it fit into a group role, what are your connections to the Yeomanry and your adventuring companions. Build well-rounded characters able to interact with the denizens of the Yeomanry, survive in the wilderness and mountains, and explore deep dark dangerous dungeons. Characters will be created using Method V which is rolling 4d6 dropping the lowest score and allowed to be placed in any order. The rolls will be done on the Discord server. When character death does happen, you will be allowed to elevate a henchman to be a replacement. If there is no henchman available, a new character will be created starting at 2 levels below the lowest level player. House Rules • No evil characters. • This will largely be a sandbox campaign that will use a mixture of modules and dungeons for content. The players will be responsible for deciding what leads they want to follow or not follow. Background Your character has grown up within the borders of the Yeomanry and has been long awaiting the day that you could follow in the footsteps of the adventurer. The time has come for you and your friends to start up an adventuring company that will hopefully become sung about with high praise throughout all the taverns by bards a plenty. But you will need to make some contacts, perhaps find a patron since outfitting an expedition such as this will not come without its costs.
