Abandoned Church of St. Cuthbert
Standing in the near center of the decaying city lies the sunken cathedral, it was one the first buildings raised in all of Standholme, and the only of the first buildings to be constructed of stone. Over the years, the city has been burned down three times, and nearly completely destroyed by a hag’s coven. This building has stood a strong through the test of time, but still sunk into the wet mud that the city was built on. Only the lonely bell tower rises above the ground, its once grey stone is now a burnt black scene, and no entrance is apparent. Rumors surround the sunken structure, some claim its the resting place of long forgotten heroes, some say secret societies use it as a meeting place to formulate dark plots.
