Perhaps the strangest vampire you could encounter, Dirk holds on deeply to the mortality he barely remember. He serves an ancient order of Knights that are sworn to protect the world from The Far Realm and its host of foul horrors. He is a jokester and an avid fan of the violin. He is assuredly beyond three thousand years old, but has never disclosed the exact year, if he can even remember it. He is a dutiful person, and considers vamparism neither a gift, nor a curse. He has searched desperately for centuries for his lover, another vampire that he has not named, nor is willing to speak of. All that is known is he is obsessed with her, and is deeply saddened by her disappearance centuries ago.
