Knights of Moor

Strange rumors of forces gathering in the seaside north of the Free Villages, gave way to superstition and thoughts of fairy tales. For the people of the Moors, these stories are more real than tales of evil. In 1620, these stories arose of a force of black armor clad knights, rampaging through the bogs and and swamps, abducting children for whatever foul reason, never to be seen again. Supposedly led by their illegitimate ruler, The Herald of Ivory Eyes. It wasn't until the formation of pitch black clouds over the small village of Rabbit Hollow that the fantasy story became true. The village burned, and all bodies disappeared when the town was investigated. Not but a week later, a bold assault began on Castille Val'ianie, where the lives of Foridian nobility were under threat, including the Duchess herself. It was there that it became apparent they are after the children of Foridia, and where The Herald of Ivory Eyes showed himself. Even with the Heralds strange crippled arm, he danced around the Lion of Foridia as if it were child's play. They left just as abruptly as they came, the black clouds receded north once again. Why they chose to so boldly attack the heart of Foridia, is to discovered.
