Banishment of Amon the Betrayer and his Devil kin from the Ghost Crossing.
Battle of Ghost Crossing 1372 The Ghost Crossing, a bridge to the south of Standholme, is plagued by devils setting up shop as they forge unholy deals with mortals as they are along the road. They are led by a powerful devil called Amon, who later in history becomes a terrible foe and deviant of epic proportions. Thirty Inquisitors are dispatched to deal with the threat. Nine perish in the battle against Amon and his host. This is marked as the single greatest loss of life in Inquisitorial history, until the Great War in 1642, and the Spirit Crushers vengeance in 1666.
