Once graduate the students are free to pursue their own interests. The "official" alumni however carry on the good deeds of their teacher Elara. They perform much relief work and keep an eye out for danger to children. These alumni psychically connected to Elara and to some extent to each other (see host feats).

Structure
Officially, there's just Elara and her students. The headmistress does however take volunteers who teach her students a wider variety/or specialist skills. Most of the "guest" teachers come from the village of Helix; though for student with a very rare gift Elara will sometimes reaches out to her larger body of contacts.
For truly gifted student Elara arrange apprenticeships with her "guest" teachers.
Upon reaching the age of 15 students are expected to make their own way in the world or become a part of Elara's Alumini (see organization stat block above). Those who choose the later quite often become famous heroes (and several have banded together to former their own adventurer bands).

Culture
Being a school with a wide array of student backgrounds there tends to be a mix of attitudes and alignments. That being said; Elara tries to instill tenants of good stewardship to ones fellows and a work ethic which will better the world.
Public Agenda
School which favors orphans but will take other students if space and time allows. Several constituents in the Domain of Greyhawk send their children to Elara for a variety of reasons (to instill ethics, train, punishment, find their offspring to dificult to manage on their own).
Assets
Elara's orphanage relies on donations (much from her alumini) and tuitions (only required from non-orphan well off students). In times of sever fiscal short Elara may even adventure herself.
History
Being a poor half-elf, Elara created her school so others wouldn't have to suffer the indignities she endured.
Demography and Population
Approximately 200 students have graduated from Elara's orphanage. As, poverty and tragedy strikes all, her alumni are varied by race and sex.
Territories
Elara's orphanage is relatively small only able to house two dozen students. When numbers stretch beyond this she finds villagers in Helix to billet them (usually the older students who are closer to graduating).
The orphanage itself is located along the North Road in the Domain of Greyhawks; at the entrance to the Helix valley.
