Drone Mixers

the robot that takes "The More the Merrier" and makes it scary

Written by ThunderwolfZJ

You don't want to find a big troop of Drone Mixers. Just one unit isn't too threatening, but they are able to combine with each other, and when they do, they become whole new levels of danger.

The Drone Mixers are the "expendable minions that come in many numbers" type of robot that Loan uses as a basic soldier. Just one of them all alone is pretty easy to deal with. But, these things are able to combine with one another to become more powerful, and more dangerous. This article will focus on the one singular unit. There will be other "Mini-Articles" that will explain the other combinations. Ooh, and one bonus danger factor to make you want to avoid these guys: If there is a unit that isn't combined with another Drone Mixer and there is a working metal contraption near it, it can absorb and combine with that contraption to make it more powerful. And if, later down the line, that same Drone Mixer happened to combine with another Drone Mixer, it would keep those upgrades.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Even though you can take one down easy, they don't go down without a fight. They have two arms with clawed hands that they use as feet. On the hands are Iron Man-like repulsers on the palms, which are their main weapon. Connected to the arms is a sphere with razor sharp teeth for some close combat.

Genetics and Reproduction

These things don't mate

Dietary Needs and Habits

Since these things are robots, they don't need to eat, drink, or sleep.

Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

These things are being used by Loan to guard cities, defend his base of operations, and be the basic soldier unit in his armies. They're also great cooks, despite not needing to eat.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

You can find these guys almost everywhere around the map.

Average Intelligence

They seem to know a lot more than us humans do, which supports The Satellite Theory.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

No one really knows, as it's design doesn't really have eyes or other things that can produce sensory input. There is one popular theory called The Satellite Theory, where there is a satellite above WorldCurse which scans the current terrain that the Drone Mixers are wirelessly connected to. Again, it's just a theory, and know one actually knows.

Civilization and Culture

Average Technological Level

They are pretty advanced in the weapons category.
Lifespan
until they become rusted and dismantled
Average Height
4.3
Average Length
1.4
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
These things are dark grey, and have red at the ends of their limbs
