The Bangers
A gang of undercity street toughs who anounce their presence by the sound of their hollow pipes hitting the walls, streets, or people. The Bangers are said to be led by a vicious criminal known as Black Bart, and control the area of Whitestar from 19th Street up to 22nd. As one of the hundreds of street gangs in the Esmereldas neighborhood of The Streets, they are opposed on all sides by more numerous and territorial powers.
Consisting mostly of Naturals, all of its members are disenfrancistos unrecognized in the many systems of New Angeles. This has allowed them more leeway in the crimes committed and in their side-hustle. Black Bart gets them jobs with the big guys, the OrgCrime outfits, taking a cut of the pay as a finders fee. Black Bart isn't one to cross, however, and it's said he doesn't tolerate failure - those people disappear.
