Defender's Heart

The Defender's Heart is a tavern/inn that was built out of an old shelter that stood in Kenabres. It is the largest inn in Kenabres, and due to its rugged construction, the defenders of the city have taken over and fortified this area against the incoming demon onslaught. Here, a makeshift ward, hospital, and armory was erected to supply the soldiers and provide a base for much of the counter-offensive that occurred after the Wardstone was shattered by Khorramzadeh, the Storm King. Much of the forces that survived were led by Irabeth Tirabade, the highest surviving ranking member of the Eagle's Watch and Quednys Orlun, the founder and head librarian of the Riftwardens.
After the counterattack was successful that led to the final destruction of the Wardstone Fragment, which caused the demons to retreat into the Worldwound, it was returned to its former glory.
The inn is run by a one-armed man named Kimroth Otai, which, during the counter-offensive he helped maintain the inn and help the soldiers stationed in Defender's Heart.
