Phrase Dictionary in T'kakou Dialect

The T'kakou dialect developed its written language significantly later than the Keyrit-Welokyi dialect, even through several T'kakou scientific achievements. This caused the T'kakou language to skew; for example, their possessive suffix is "-yt" instead of "-yi." It is possible for a Keyrit speaker to interpret an Ugoyt speaker, but fluency and rapid talking is out of the question.

More Anglicized, it means that it will take a long time to split a rock while wielding only a large plant. It's a jab at the villages of Retrougo, saying that their life among plants (an analogy for luxury) has made them weaker. This was the shorthand for the individual's desire for riches and fame, at least in the later years of his/her life. It was often the motivation to keep going, especially once the large mining corporations gained a foothold.
