Fort Cragmaw

Fort Cragmaw is not a goblin construction. The stronghold consists of seven overlapping towers; however, its upper levels have long since collapsed to heaps of crumbling masonry with the exception of one protruding tower. Only the ground floor is still sound enough to be habitable.

Purpose / Function

This old Wolton military base is now the home and headquarters to the Cragmaw Goblin Tribe

Alterations

Venomfang the green dragon, during its brief stay at the fort, destroyed the roof of the large tower protruding from the fort to be used for access in and out of the fort.

Human stone construction with obvious ruin and decay from years of neglect

History

Destroyed during the Orchish Invasion, Fort Cragmaw was never able to regain its former glory. Once a primary military base for Wolton, the fort became the home to the goblinkind of the Sword Mountains.
