Imhotep is released from his imprisonment

Through the exploits of Vareal and the rest of the party, the imprisonment of Imhotep "The First King" was ended with the opening of his cursed sarcophagus.

The party, traveling through the Kalah Crevasse, found an alcove with a smoldering campfire and a partially burned letter. The letter explained how there were dragonborn barbarians inside the tomb. The party continued, and with the guidance of Vareal, they foundthemselves in a towering cylindrical chamber housing a previously unmoving stone golem. After the party defeated the stone golem, they found a massive yellow gem and a protected, locked door. They opened the door and found a small room with a magically sealed sarcophagus. With a successful strength check, Vareal singlehandedly opened the sarcophagus of Imhotep that was sealed centuries ago.
