Druid for Hire
In a meeting with Valentin in Wolton's Undercroft, he hands you a note: "There is someone looking for Whilpy." He points you in the direction of a female tiefling wearing rugged sackcloth clothing. She perks up at your approach."Hello! I am Tikal the druid. I hear you are looking for work, yes?She has detailed a quest to retrieve for her a mirror left behind in a cave of "asshole" druids. She adds:
"If you would like to kill the druids while you're there it will be like hitting two birds with one stone, no?
Goblin Unification
Cheese Danish and his gang of goblins were successful in overthrowing the Black Spider's bugbears and seized control over the Cragmaw Tribe of Goblins located in Fort Cragmaw with your help. Upon being visited recently by Figginan, Cheese revealed there are other tribes of goblins needing liberated and unified with the Fort Cragmaw tribe.Where is Nundro Rockseeker?
To the right of the vault door are a series dwarvish etchings in the wall. They seem to have been carved with a dagger or some kind of pick. Gundrin translates:“Gundrin, he killed Tharden. The cave is forfeit. There is more like this out there. Follow Its path. The North is not safe.”Nundro was the third dwarf in the trio of brothers that consisted of Tharden, Gundrin, and Nundro himself. Gundrin is devoting his time to uncovering the message of Nundro's cryptic last words and finding his brother. Maybe he has some theories?
The Wave Echo Cave Wraith's Tome
Dust, ash, walls blackened by fire, and heaps of debris beneath the sagging ceiling show that this room was damaged by a destructive blast. The furnishings- tables, chairs, bookshelves, beds- are charred or splintered, but otherwise well preserved. A scorched iron chest stands near the foot of one of the beds. As you enter the room, a ghostly spectre emanating a pulsating purple aura rises from beneath the floor, its noncorporeal form seemingly coming from the stone beneath your feet. Behind the hooded spectre, a skull with lifeless eyes stares directly at you and points. A whisper eminates as if it were talking from all around you. Although the speech is spoken as if it were a whisper, you hear it loudly and clearly:“Your presence is offensive to me, your life is forfeit. My treasures are mine alone, not yours to plunder!”A handful of magically preserved tomes remain on the shelves. Most are just histories, but one has a map sewn onto the cover. The book is written in Ignan and seemed to get the interest of the Efreeti in Nalepo before its escape. Citadel of Sago the Enchantress: Planar Gate Tome

The Story So Far
Your accomplishments and story thus far in the worldThe Lost Mines of Mudston
In recent years the Rockseeker brothers, a trio of dwarves who are a part of The Lord's Alliance, have discovered the entrance to Wave Echo Cave. A mysterious villian known as the Black Spider controls a network of bandit gangs and goblin tribes in the area, and his agents have followed the Rockseeker brothers to their prize. Now the Black Spider wants Wave Echo Cave for himself and is taking steps to make sure no one else knows where it is.Cragmaw Cave
The four of you had accepted a job offer from a Dwarf named Gundrin Rockseeker. He requested you drive a wagon of goods and ale barrels to the Keg Smasher’s Ale Hall in the trade city of Wolton, to receive 10 gold each. He and an elven escort named Silldar Hallwinter went ahead of the party on horse because Gundrin said he had to ‘take care of business’ in Wolton. With less than half a day’s journey left to the city, you stumbled upon two dead horses blocking the road. After defeating a goblin ambush, Mordolien realized the dead horses belonged to Gundrin and Silldar with an empty leather map case nearby. You all made your way into the city of Wolton to deliver the cargo to the Keg Smasher’s. You learned from Hobart, head of The Keg Smahser's, that Gundrin might have found the entrance to a long-lost mysterious mine in a place called Wave Echo Cave, a place that is said to still hold locked away riches from before the unification of the Empire. After venturing into the Wolton Undercroft and buying some supplies, you headed back to the Goblin hideout to track down Gundrin’s captors. You ambushed the Goblin, Kenny, at the Cave’s entrance and captured his best friend, Cheese, who told you about Yeemik and Klarg, the ones running this section of the Cragmaw Goblin Clan. Cheese, however, forgot how to get to Fort Cragmaw. With Cheese’s intel, you forcibly evicted the Goblins and Bugbear running the cave to rescue Sildar Hallwinter, a member of the Lord’s Alliance in Wolton. You all stayed the night at the Keg Smasher’s Ale Hall and with Sildar’s help, found your way to Fort Cragmaw, the goblin headquarters where Gundrin was taken.Fort Cragmaw and Venomfang the Green Dragon
Upon arrival, you burst down the door of a druid living in the Cragmaw ruins named Reidoth. He told you he saw Gundrin being taken in the night by some figures headed to the north. He offered to track them and take you to where they were going if you were able to expel a dragon who had taken residence in one of the towers of Castle Cragmaw. With Cheese’s help going through the castle, you made your way to Venomfang the green dragon where, after experiencing near death, Mordolien was able to talk him out of fighting and to leave the castle in hopes of finding a better, more lucrative home. Upon exiting the castle, you were approached by a war band of hobgoblins, goblins, and wolves, where it was revealed Cheese was an agent in the Goblin uprising against the bugbear overlords and the Black Spider. You parted ways with Cheese and the Cragmaw Tribe with the map to Wave Echo Cave in your possession.Wave Echo Cave
As the four explored Wave Echo Cave, fighting zombies, a Flame Skull, a Spectator, and other beasts, it turns out they weren’t the only ones in search of the secrets within the cave…. A week prior, near the temples of the Hill Dwarf city of Greywatch, a Half-Elf cleric named Lysanthir successfully bet a Dwarf cleric of Dumathoin out on a map to a long lost shrine of his god. With some successful bribing and investigation, the map led you to the middle of nowhere outside of a Human city named Wolton. Nearby a man-made cave entrance, you see a gnomish druid named Whilpy inspecting it. The six of you tracked down Nezznar, the Black Spider, trying to enter the vault of Wave Echo Cave with a badly bruised and beaten Gundrin. You defeated Nezznar and entered the vault, finding a singular large diamond. The Hamlet Boys
Thieves in the Night
After selling the findings of the vault to Ivo Kintober of Wolton’s Undercroft, you were commissioned by Lord Fallabaster himself to discover the goods stolen from the plundering of the Sky Sanctuary by those in the night prior. Lord Fallabaster said there was an inside leak from the Lord’s Alliance itself and they couldn’t trust anyone within the organization. After you travelled to the hamlet of Sunnvale. After meeting Constable Lahey and Ser Randall, they led you to Julian's house where they found a dagger the night prior at the scene of the crime belonging to him. A man named Cyrus, carrying a glass mage staff said Julian had until sundown to leave his home so that Cyrus may move in. Mordolien found footsteps leading up the hills where the scene of the crime was. You found out from a Randy’s “babymama” that she didn’t care where he went nor what he did. From a gnomish bard named Bubbles, you found out people in a group called the Redbrands were involved with terrorizing the town. Just after you found out from a girl named Trinity that people in red clothing terrorized her outside fo a cave entrance, you all were approached by people in red clothing trying to steal money from you. After killing them all, Trinity pointed out that those were the very same men that threatened her. Whilpy right after pointed out that now the men were dead they were unquestionable. You left off in a field of blood coated grass covered in corpses between different houses within the hamlet of Sunnvale.Trescendar Manor
You made your way to the scene of the crime and found a journal talking about a tavern called The Sleeping Giant Inn, you found yourselves face to face with the in city watering hole of the Redbrand gang. Posing as recruits, you were directed to the secret hideout of the Redbrands: Trescendar Manor. After meeting a Nothic who named himself “Ohhh”, it said that it knew where the leader of the Redbrand gang was and he knew where the stolen goods were taken. After fighting and killing Cyrus, the leader of the Redbrands, you found a letter to a man named Thel, but were pressured by “Ohhh” to carry out your end of the bargain and find and bring it the large shiny gem it saw with the stolen artifacts. Figginan gave him his silver dagger as a collateral to “Ohhh”, stating how they’d be back with their end of the payment. You were left in the large cavern underneath the manor where you initially met the Nothic and quickly dispatched him. You freed a woman named Mirna and her children from the slave pens run by the remaining bugbears of The Black Spider's army and captured a goblin accomplice named Droop. In Mirna's home, her missing husband Thel's journal was found outlining where Cyrus forced him to bring the stolen goods to.The Dead Drop and Dragon Cult
Traveling Northwest of Sunnvale you all found a lumbering iron golem walking north in the direction of Fort Chamor and acting unresponsive. With some good survival and directional skills, you all came across an abandoned house which was being inhabited by a group of Dragon Cultists. Run by a man named Favric, you convinced the cultists that this was your home where they apologized for invading your home. An issue arose when Lysanthir traded the captured goblin, Droop, for a diamond in which the Dragon Cultists were going to offer to the Green Dragon, Venomfang, as tribute. Elnora paid the cultists 400 gold to free the goblin and send him back to Fort Cragmaw. Inside the house's basement you all found crates of artifacts and a large, fist-sized blue sapphire presumably from the floating ruins of Sky Sanctuary. Returning the goods to Lord Fallabaster, he rewarded the party with renown and gold. The Dead East Campaign
Upon leaving the mansion of Lord Fallabaster, the party was approached by Gundrin and someone seeking the help of the Lord's Alliance in Wolton, a templar of The Knights of Holy Judgement; a half-orc named Ruphuol. Pledging the party's aid in ousting the threat of the cultists of Cyric, the party headed northward in a caravan of templars to The Dead East Province. The Holy War for Nalepo
The Tomb of Imhotep
The party, traveling through the Kalah Crevasse, found an alcove with a smoldering campfire and a partially burned letter. The letter explained how there were dragonborn barbarians inside the tomb. The party continued, and with the guidance of Vareal, they foundthemselves in a towering cylindrical chamber housing a previously unmoving stone golem. After the party defeated the stone golem, they found a massive yellow gem and a protected, locked door. They opened the door and found a small room with a magically sealed sarcophagus. With a successful strength check, Vareal singlehandedly opened the sarcophagus of Imhotep that was sealed centuries ago. After some healing woes brought on by Figginan and some misplaced pocket sand, the party rested and continued further into the tomb. Later finding the long lost vault of Imhotep that was sealed behind a collapse in from the canyon, they witnessed a grotesque transformation of a Nekistani Outlander with a wish granted from a Monkey's Paw.Remove these ads.
