Central Wuxia

The trees lined the forest like giants, many of them towering over me in an overpowering fashion. With each step I took, I could feel myself getting closer to my destination. The Central Jungle was considered something straight out of fantasy, and I had taken the trip with great excitement, but now I was beginning to doubt myself. This place — there were things here, watching from the corners of my eyes.   Putting a hand to my face in frustration, I pulled down the cloth that covered me and sat down on a nearby log. It would be easier if it wasn't so smotheringly hot in this forest.   I was told when I got to the temple, there would be monks waiting for me, awaiting my arrival with guidance and wisdom. As long as I could find my way in this jungle maze in time, according to the map.   Suddenly in the distance I saw a monk casually sitting beneath a tree. He wore crimson robes — signifying his warrior-like status.   "You must be lost." The monk looked down at me from his perch, moving with an elegant grace that seemed almost inhuman. "I'd suggest you not wander this forest alone."   — A young monk in training.

Geography

Aptly named, Central Wuxia is the most central continent in Wuxia. It is surrounded by Island of Gelida to the west, the Island of Calidus to the north, the Island of Sabulo to the east, and the Island of Votum to the southeast.   Running largely north-to-south, Central Wuxia is predominantly grassy, with a large portion of its mass covered with dense jungle, mounds of rich dark dirt intermingled with red clay, and mysterious groves.   At the southern tip of Central Wuxia lies Red Clay Mountain . A Peninsula juts out to the east, home to the Cave of Whispers , and following the peninsula to its tip brings you to the Hall of Heroes.   In the central part of the Northern Jungle, you can find the Temple of Knowledge where martial arts monks train in Tai Chi. More than just a jungle training ground, the Temple of Knowledge houses the world's most complete map of Wuxia, along with The Great Library of Knowledge .
