Olvir the Unknown

Nobody is quite sure how old Olvir is. Some say that he was just a young cub when the Ursae first came down from the stars, while others say he is even older than that. However, all can agree that Olvir the Unknown has wandered the mountains of the Devil's Teeth Range for a very, very long time.
Olvir is an old, male Ursae who belongs to no particular tribe. He typically wears a dark blue cloak and carries a large walking stick. When he was younger, his fur was a dark black, of which the rare strand can still be seen in his coat of grey fur. Rather than stay in a particular location, Olvir is known to wander from place to place, taking time to visit most of the 42 tribes of the Ursae. The tribes not visited by Olvir are amongst the most secretive, to the point where some argue that if Olvir himself can't find them, they must not exist.
Despite the harsh conditions of his home and lifestyle, Olvir has maintained a very welcome personality. He has been known to invite complete strangers to sit by his fire, and by the end of the night, learn not just everything about them, but also includes them amongst his constantly growing list of friends.
Famously, Olvir never talks about himself or why he wanders. Showcasing his wittiness, he typically responds to questions about himself with conflicting, fantastical stories. His most consistent response to questions about why he must leave a given place, is that "the stars have told me to go". Like all Ursae, Olvir has a strong connection to the stars. However, his connection always seemed more personal. Olvir has often been seen staring up at the night sky with a smile on his face, almost as if he was sharing an unheard joke with them.
