General Summary
August 15, 2023
- Upon arrival in Verstallis, Loathar Swiftriver checked in with the local chapter of the House of Order.
- Loathar hired several locals (Belorin Flintbloom, Garrai, and Yew "Treasure" Dheggy), deputizing them to help with his investigation.
- The party arrived at the house of Plinia Arminus, and managed to determine that she had run away with one Euclio Massala to the nearby Fort Veria, however, the neighbouring Massala family was unaware of anyone by that name.
- Upon arrival at the fort, the party discovered a series of strange rooms in the cellar, including:
- Cellar
- Room with a fountain and garden
- Overgrown
- Flooded room where the party rode across on a large swan while acid balloons were thrown at them.
- A hallway full of strange mirrors.
- A circus room, including a cage full of monkeys, a mallet game, and a merry-go-round which accelerates infinitely.
- Yew told his name to a satyr between the flooded room and the circus room, and now nobody can remember his name.
- Belorin managed to retrieve his magic hat from the monkeys in the circus room.
- After this series of strange rooms, they found themselves in a large cave, which is the current campground of the Broadspark Circus. While Garrai and rescue Plinia Arminus after casting a quick Dispel Magic, Belorin and Loathar are secretly told by Lanmin Broadspark to help him.
- Upon further investigation, they found a Fey spirit in a small cave at the back of the larger one.
- Combat started after Loathar accidentally walked into an Elvish princess named Esta Leoven who declared open war against Estalia.
- Loathar and served as frontline warriors, while Belorin acted as a medic and Garrai casting spells to confuse and disorient. During combat, both Loathar and were knocked unconscious, but Belorin was able to revive them.
