The Great Barrier

After The Godswar, the Great Barrier was created to separate the inner planes from the outer. A powerful magical barrier, it has made it near impossible for deities to pass through to apply any direct influence on the inner planes. Although directly passing through the barrier is impossible, there have been some gateways noted which have been used to pass around it.
