Selûne-Moonmaiden
Selûne, the Moonmaiden, also known as The Silver Lady and She Who Guides, is a Goddess of The Divine Nine. Her grasp on the world is wherever the moonlight touches and where her followers are. When the Gods had arrived at Xelia, she had gifted the world a moon to give light to the incredible dark nights the world had to endure for millennia. This moon was named after her and is believed by some to either be the Goddess herself, or it is where she resides to watch the world. Her followers consist of navigators, wanderers, non-evil lycanthropes, and The Cresent Blades. The Cresent Blades is primarily a woman group that travels through the night and helps travelers get to their destinations. They worship the Moonmaiden and in return, she gives them divine powers that allow them to cast spells and travel through the moonlight. The Cresent Blades tend to make temples that are placed in odd and weird places due to the chaotic nature of the Moonmaiden. In each temple, you will see three different versions of the Moonmaiden due to her personality constant shifting through the phases of the moon. One was a dusky-skinned human woman with long limbs; perfect and exquisite beauty; wide, radiant, lime-green eyes; and long, ivory-hued hair that fell to her knees. Another was an ethereal young girl of slender frame, dark eyes, and dark hair, wearing diaphanous robes colored white or resembling dappled moonlight, which trailed her "moondust" or "moon motes". A third was a matronly middle-aged woman, plump yet fair and aging gracefully, with gray-streaked dark hair.
Again like the cycles of the moon, Selûne had many and changing moods and natures. Her faithful, coming from many walks of life, viewed her in countless different ways, and she reflected this. Sometimes she is enthusiastic, vivacious, joyous, and majestic, given to action and dance. At other times, she is subdued, motherly, and almost poetic or tranquil and embracing. Then she is remote and weighed down by sadness at defeats and tragedies, even those that happened long, long ago. Finally, she can be aggressive and fierce, but cold, and with little mercy for her enemies. These shifting personalities make her versatile. Nevertheless, she is viewed as a calm power. At all times, Selûne is caring and accepting of most beings, and forgiving of most of her followers' faults. As a being of chaos, she is well used to change. She has a serene and peaceful nature and is slow to anger; she will not fight if she can help it, but she doesn't hold back if she must. She is fiercely protective when confronted by evil. She is generous and freely bestows gifts and blessings on mortals She also makes few demands of her followers. When those reach out to her for guidance or help, she will always find a way to give some sort of response.

Day of the New Moon is celebrated on the second day of Nightreign. This day is celebrated by praying to the Goddess for safety and to protect them through the long night that is coming.
