Amasec

Amasec is a potent alcoholic liquor similar to wine that is popular across the Imperium of Man and is distilled from different types of local grain, including vineyards on the world of Mistral. Many different Imperial worlds produce drinks that go by this name.

Its quality can vary considerably, ranging from lesser brews fit for use in firebombs, to well-aged brands suitable only for the Imperial nobility or the highest-ranked of the Emperor's servants.

In the Astra Militarum, Amasec has a tendency to be confiscated by higher-ranking officers for their own use from among the rank-and-file when they discover it.
