The Border tower

This tower is right on the border of the fire and ice sides. It is half fire and half ice. Kiana and Phoenix built the fire side of the tower. Harper and Colby built the ice side of the tower. They created it to hold meeting and stay in contact but, they only use it for emergencies now.

Ground Floor

The large base of the tower is home to the Fire and Ice Museum, where people from each side of the world can explore rare artifacts from the other side that they would not have any other way of seeing. Fire and Ice museum

Purpose / Function

The purpose of the tower is to keep the two sides of Xenon in touch with each other. When the tower was first built the fire and ice side held meetings every month to talk about keeping peace between the two sides and about trading. After a while they only held meetings during emergencies when one or both of the sides was having a crisis and needed help.

There are two main entrances. The burning doorway and The freezing doorway.

Contents & Furnishings

In the center of the meeting room there is a big half ice and half fire table. Around the ice side are a bunch of ice chairs and around the fire side are a bunch of lava chairs.

Architecture

Combining the architectural traditions of both hemispheres of Xenon, the blocky stone-like ice structure on one side and the twisted flaming wooden beams on the other.

History

The first attempt to build a tower was a dismal failure, when the site chosen had a stronger fire field than ice field, casing the ice side of the structure to melt into weird shapes. The second attempt was in a zone with a stronger ice field that overwhelmed the fire field, causing the flaming wood to go out. A third attempt was made at a site that seemed better, but the fire and ice fields were both too weak, and the tower sank into the ground, leaving behind regular wood in a muddy puddle. The fourth attempt is the current successfully built tower where both fields are strong enough to sustain the structure.
