Liana Xax (aka Virginia Carter)- Great Grandaughter of John Carter and Deja Thoris. She had been experimenting with 9th Ray tech of the Thern while aboard her airship on the way to meet with a potential suitor in the northern Onkar (yellow martians) region. As her ship passed over the pole, the ionization interacted with the 9th ray and sent her into another world. She would manage to leap from her ship as it skated across the ice, only for it to crash into the jagged glacier rocks below.
