St. Zelus Annulosus
A matured pupa that was salvaged after the a meteor swarm crashed into Mydakash. After the war subsided, the lone insectoid was adopted by an orphanage in Gufondland. Zelus as he would be named would grow to adulthood and be recruited into the inuagral class of Xieon's Astral Navy.
Over the next few months of his short tenure aboard the Jaded Dragon, Zelus helped his crewmates defeat the Sunkist Dragon and The Cannibal, as well as winning a Battle of the Bands. This First Mate insectoid, even instigated a jailbreak on the Dome of Xua.
However, Zelus and his demons ultimately led to his sacrifice. In the twilight days of 1700BE, Zelus bonded with the returning Root Mother to give life to a new hive. His decision saved the Favorborn from an unneccarry plague and secured Mallort Longpour a better resting place for his soul. Zelus Annolusus passed into the Verdant Hell as a spiritual protector bounded to the fate of the Moon of Mydakash.

History
After the Infestation War the remaining unhatched larva would be recovered, of them only one viable infant remained. Deja convinced the Mydan Authority to grant it amnesty and allow her to care for it. Being half Barsoomian on her mother's side, she had heard stories of the Warhoon and Tharks of Barsoom. These stories bestowed an empathy in the infant insectoid whom she would give the name Zelus after a legendary thark warrior. She decided to soon open an foster center in the Borealix Institute where she also teaches.
