Temple Longpour, Oracle of the Root Mother

Temple Longpour is the daughter of Jinton and Lemira Longpour, she is also the younger sister of the Deceased Mallort Longpour. Temple was only 10 years old when her brother was taken by a Hell Ship in Astral Space. After being given the news by the Xieon Astral Navy she reunited with an equally distrout Galloway the Squirrel. Over the next few weeks, the pair's despair would catch the eye of the very demons that now held Mallort's soul. Seeing the potential in such a young accolyte, a demon would approach Galloway the Squirrel with a deal. Blinded by tears, both Temple and Galloway would pledge their souls in exchange to return Mallort.
However, someone in Astral Space had other plans. After the acquisition of the child's soul, the same demon representative contacted Zelus Annulosus with yet another deal. Guilting the former crew member of Mallort with blame of his death as well as the promise to release the young Temple's contract, Zelus would agree to end six souls in the name of the demon's master. Only one soul had been claimed before Zelus and the crew of the Jaded Dragon would return to Mydakash to confront Galloway. By the time they had arrived, an infernally corrupted Galloway had killed attacked the Twisted Zodiac, killing Quilo Longpour before being slain. Zelus and crew vowed to save Temple's soul without taking anymore lives for the demon. A promise he was able to fulfill by sacrificing himself to the Root Mother upon her recent reconstitution. The Root Mother blessing would bar any outside infernal presence from dealings in her domain and her influence in the infernal realms had enough sway to pull Mallort's soul into her own verdant afterlife.
Temple was anointed the Root Mother's Oracle, at age 11 and trained by many of Mydakash's greatest heroes of this age. By the time her first true test as Oracle came, she had trained in the martial arts at The High Cap Abbey, magics from Borealix, tracking from St. Gufo, all the while under the watchful guidance of the Root Mother.
