Apturas are a type of robot closely related to Comines. They are fairly low in numbers, and aren’t commonly found outside their origin country, Aptur.
In some nations and areas, they are treated with disdain and are discriminated against.

Anatomy

At a glance, Apturas don't look much different than Comines. The main difference is Apturas lack the stripe going across their face. As well, their facial lines run horizontally and in an elongated 'Z' to the corner of their head.

CULTURE & RANGE

Apturas originate from the country of Aptur and are sparsely found outside it. However, it's not unheard of for individual Apturas or immediate families to strike out on their own. Outside of Aptur, Western Seya has the highest population of Apturas, with most having fled their country.
While Apturas are all individuals, one of the common views they tend to share is a reluctance to accept modern technology and modern society, often to the point of being afraid of it. Many prefer to live a simpler life and live in rural communities called clans* (or villages). Rarely found outside the country of Aptur, though it's not unheard of for individual Apturas to strike out on their own.

RELATIONS

In general, most people are fine with Apturas, but many do tend to question their beliefs relating to modern technology and society. They may also be called ‘backwards' and dumb for rejecting technology and modern society. Due to the Apturas’ reluctance to engage in modernity, they are sometimes considered to be on the ‘fringes’ of society and are kept at a distance by others.
Unfortunately, Apturas are known to get some of the worst treatment when people do have a prejudice against them.

Dismantlers

With opposing viewpoints on most cultural norms, it’s no surprise Dismantlers and Apturas don’t get along. Moreso Dismantlers and the Dismantler Kingdom have raided and conquered land from Aptur, driving Apturas closer and closer to the coast and Seyan border.
Apturas tend to be fairly non-aggressive, but as their clans are displaced and people are murdered, resentment is starting to build, and even the most passive people have a breaking point.
