Robot

Robots are the only sentient species found on Xon. They come in different variations, called types, varieties, or races, but all share the trait of being made out of a hard, metal-like material, as well as having very similar biology.
They are a sapient species, capable of complex thought, language, speech, writing, and self-reflection. Robots evolved from a single progenitor called the robotana*, and over time developed into different varieties.

TYPES OF ROBOTS

There are currently 5 distinct types of robots, 4 of which are still present on Xon. Each have different traits, customs, cultures, and a rich history:

Biology

The anatomy and appearance varies slightly between each type (see each for more info), but many physiological aspects are also shared across types.
On average, healthy Tersi, CA, and Apturas will live 125-150* Xon years. Pure Dismantlers have a lower lifespan and on average live between 80-100* years. Hybrid Dismantlers, depending on the generation, usually live somewhere between 110-140* years.
Apturas, CAs, and Tersi are considered adults at 25* (Xon) years old. Dismantlers reach maturity at 20* years old.

Anatomy

All robots have a core, an energized mechanism that operates as their lifeforce (similar to a battery). This is located inside the upper, middle area of the chest.

Reproduction

Using code values from a male (11) and female (00) robot, the two will create offspring. (tba)

Hybridization

Main article: Hybrid
All robot types can produce viable offspring with one another. Depending on the combination, some offspring can display certain traits not normally present in their type (eg. a hybrid Dismantler can have a blue eye).
Most robots are considered hybrids, as different types of robots are mixed together in different nations.

Culture & Range

Robots of all types are found everywhere on Xon. Culture, norms, values, customs, and languages vary greatly and are not always shared between types. For instance, a Tersi from Tersus will have different viewpoints and cultural norms than a Tersi from Akol.
That being said, each type has a general 'origin', which is how they get their name:

• Tersi originated from the region now known as Tersus
• CAs (Comine Aborigines) originated from the Comine Republic
• Apturas are closely related to CAs and their ancestors originated from the Comine Republic. However they are more closely traced to Aptur and are mainly found there.
• Dismantlers are found predominately in the Dismantler Kingdom, though it's not uncommon for Dismantlers to be found in other nations, though sparsely.
• Zerderes were found in the former nation of Zerra (now the northern and eastern regions of the Dismantler Kingdom)
