Zerdere

Zerderes* were a type of robot closely related to Dismantlers that once inhabited the northern and eastern regions of what is now the Dismantler Kingdom; a country called Zerra.

They were driven to extinction primarily due to conflict with their Dismantler cousins, as well as conflict with CAs.

BIOLOGY

On average lived to 110-140 years. Reached sexual maturity at 22 years.

Anatomy

Zerdere’s looked very similar to Dismantlers, but walked more upright and had a more lithe and lighter frame. Their necks tended to be shorter, and they had digits for feet.

They could have all frame colours, black, grey, and white, as well as all eye colours. Aside from abdominal spines, males and females had no visual differences.

Reproduction

Like their Dismantler relatives, Zerderes were capable of bearing multiple young at a time. However brood size was much smaller in comparison, with an average of 4-6 Zerdere’s born, and a lower infant mortality rate.

A direct hybrid of a Dismantler and a Zerdere was called a Zerdantler.
