Alaine Dumac Satum
Aliane's parents were two noble elves in Eversted, but he left their household early on to join Lia Artanis's court as he felt that he would have a better education there as well as more room to develop.
He was a prodigy in regards the antique form of blade dancing, like many in his family before him, but he didn't appreciate the human curiosity in Eversted and prefered the space Lia's court offered. He countinued his training on his own using either Galinndan or Keijo as sparing partner for his unique way of fighting.
Alaine was very well aware of his talents and therefore is arrogant even by elven standards with little to no patience for elkani fascination of elves. His abilities could make him a celebrity within the Realm, but he prefered the calmness Lia's court offers in exchange for his service as guard.
In 436 YoU he joined Alvery Vestergaard, Keijo Artanis and Galinndan in fighting back gnolls that attacked the Vestergaard-Artanis vinyard. He also followed Alvery's lead chasing to confront a further gnoll band that was threatening a small village north east of the estate. Fighting through the gnolls Alaine was instrumental in killing the gnoll champion by burning him within his own armor before Alvery finished him off. In 437 YoU a group of elvish performers were passing through Flushavs and were invited to perform at the vinyard's estate. The groups leader Mirabell used her charm to lure Alaine joining them in their performance that quickly turned in to orgy. Yet charmed by the demonic spells she used Alaine was lost in the rythm losing control as he joined in more and more extreme acts of debauchery. The cult quickly spread the feast from the vinyard all across town until they summoned a daemonette who would take charge of the town. After several days the town was fully under control of the cult - either by joining the sick rituals or hidding in their houses from the terror. All of it only came to an end when Alvery and Keijo returned home to discover the cultist who settled in their family's house. Cutting through the demon worshipers Alvery knocked Alaine unconscious. He would find himself restrained when he finally came back to his senses. The house's children had found and freed their parents and Galinndan, yet came to late for the house's librarian Lovren. Confrontated Alaine re-told what had happened, how he was lured into joining the procession, who they imprisioned and tortured the members of the household and all the way to how the demon was summoned that now throned in the town's stronghold. In an effort to redeem himself Alaine offered to fight side by side with Alvery, Keijo and Galinndan who decided to attack the stronghold. Before the next day would end he would get his chance to prove his loyality to the family by sacrificing himself to heal Alvery who was knocked unconscious by the daemonette while surrounded by enemies. After the desparate fight with the fiend and cultists Alvery was able to return the favour and save Alaine from the brink of death. Even though he had regained the families trust Alaine decided to leave them and join Sajlaeren in Eversted as a body guard as the friend of the family was being threated by a gang. From then on he stayed at the estate in the Old Elven Town district, guarding the well connected elf.
