Caretaker Wingard

Caretaker Wingard is a priest of the Child in service of the church's temple in Bertraggen. He has been assigned to this position since 425 YoU and often visited the village of Hholms due to the good relationship with the family of the van Hholms.
He was beloved by many for his forthcoming and kind nature. When the health issues of Jamilija van Valdenhorst became known he attempted serval times to cure her, but to no avail. Some say this soured the relationship between Hensen and the church, while others rumored that the priest couldn't help them as they were cursed for the lack of gratitude towards the Child. Caretaker Wingard didn't appreciate that gossip so it was usually not mentioned in his presense.

The caretaker started to behave strangely in 438 YoU. Some rumored that he had taken Bertham van Valdenhorst to some place to educate him, but nobody knew where this should be as Bertham was not seen or heard of for years. On top of that Wingard was no longer fulfilling his duties to the church, but he regularly visited the children of the van Hholms family conviencing them to marry each other. He also randomly appeared in villages supporting indecent behavior. 
His most questionable act would be the marriage of Antonietta and Danjel van Hholms, where he endorsed the public mass rape of the underage bride in 439 YoU. He would disappear around 440 YoU as the cult of excess spread through the southern region around Bertraggen.

His body was later found much in a cave in the woods with part of his head torn off.
