Danjel van Hholms
Danjel van Hholms was the younger sons of Pasqual van Hholms, who stayed behind as his father and older brother went into war against the Goblin Invasion of 435 YoU. After his father's, brother's and older sister's death he became the lord of the household in 437 YoU.
Danjel was regarded by most who knew him as one with a bright future. Even at the young age of 16 he already was seen as a promising knight canditate whose training in Eversted was only postponed due to his father's departure. Besides his impressive martial skills Danjel was also known to be a kind young man always willing to help and protect the people of Hholms. Even at that young age he and a skeleton crew of household troops drove off the notorious bandits lead by Garv, who were terrorising the region south west of Bertraggen.
He was also highly appreciated by the common folk for being willing to help out on the fields and playing with the children of the farmers treating them as equals. Never one to hide behind his noble blood the young man was beloved by all.
The whole village was deeply shocked by the loses the van Hholms family suffered in the years 435 and 437, but they also knew that Danjel and his sister Antonjetta were good hearted people that would be kind rulers and wise beyond their years.
Through out 438 YoU Danjel started to change under the influence of Caretake Wingard, but also the van Valdenhorst family. The initial change was perceived as a positive one as he decided to act against the notorious bandit Garv. Later on though he became obsessed by the idea of marrying his sister and started to indulge in questionable activities that were spreading from HHolms to neighbouring settlements culminating in the arranged marriage to his sister and her brutal gang rape on the town square that he himself lead.
From 439 YoU on he became involved in acts that were associated to the Cult of Excess that spread south of Bertraggen.
