Jiradel

Jiradel was sent to help protect Elandirill by Zilandriell. His background was little known before he appeared at Alvery Vestergaard's court in Elandirill in 442 YoU. It was only known that he spent a short time at the University, but left little impression in the records there and that he created a small circle of mages with his own students that would later follow him to Elandirill.
While waiting for lord Baellinger's attack he organised his circle in a small compound on the fringe of the ruined town avoiding drawing attention towards them. Among his students were mostly elves and half elves he gathered from elven enclaves arcoss the Realm. Lucky for him and his plans Alvery and her advisors also paid little mind to them.
When the day of the battle against lord Baellinger came his circle joined the fight as planned, though only fired a handful of fireballs into the enemy lines while the two armies engaged in heavy fighting. After making sure that Alvery and her troops were occupied Jiradel retreated his mages back into town were his real mission was already on it way.
Jiradel's servents, who were actually cultists of the weave - captured civilians and the priestess Pannea to be sacrificed in a ritual at the temple of Litheth. Jiradel and his mages joined them and closed of the gates of the sacred place.

As the ritual was on going and the temple desecrated in the name of Ka'ash'du'Maal'Barid Alvery Vestergaard, Bloddwyn Bluainach, Bran van Sparkhammer, Yandrak and Dorn Brashard broke through the entrace to attack the communion. As the defenders of the town rushed in Jiradel stepped out of the shadows donning his golden mask of the Weave and laughed at Alvery on her failure to spot the cultists in their middest before he turned invisible.
Due to the desecration of the temple a Nalfeshnee entered the mortal plane from the Abyss and lead further flamer demons to attack. Jiradel using his invisibility spell kept attacking the town's champions not fearing their conter while blasting them with mindwips and lighting bolts. Yet Alvery finally found him relying on her fine sense for her surroundings and started swinging her sword at him. Losing his concentration he attempted to escape by teleporting away, but she again caught up with him as suddenly a fog spread through the temple. Not able to see her he became an easy pray and she cut him down, marking him with a large 'E' on his chest thus ending any hope for the ritual's finish.
