Jirta, Mistress of Ceremony of Gynebra
Jirta was born and raised in Rafalquor where she joined the church of Gynebra. As she raised through the ranks she was offered the role as high priestess for the church's temple in Eversted.
The 'Crow's Playhouse' was enjoying an excellent reputation under her guidance for her understanding of the crowds taste in what they desire from their entertainment was fawless. The temple's plays attracted a lot of talented playwrites, actors, musicians and dancers increasing the quality of performances constantly. Besides her duties as high priest of Gynebra leading the 'Crow's Playhouse' she also worked together with the church of Caldis and organised the weekly arena fights to make sure that the city's popluation got all the entertainment they craved for.
Naturally she also kept an eye to the needs of the Academy of Fine Arts and supports them when they performed for the members of the royal court or the Realm's council.
Yet in 437 YoU after the attempted arrest of Demian the Prince she left the city. The battle at the arena saw her involved as she and Garlund were operating the fights that day like every weekend. Not informed by Danikka van Szonek about the Inquistion's plans to confront the champion. As the paladins and high priestess entered the combat pit Garlund and Jirta demanded imidiately explanations - which they wouldn't get as Demian promised a show to the spectators and initiated the fight with the divine forces. While the Prince cut down his opponents succubi interfered with Jirta's and Garlund's perception of events prompting them to attack the inquisition forces. As the situation within the arena got more and more out of control Jirta came to her senses and recognized the danger, while three fighters from the stands had joined the combat below only to be met by demons coming from the pits of the arena. After a violent battle that saw the high priestess of the Lady killed as well as three of her four bodyguards, Demian's escape, followed by the three fighters that joined from the stands. Jirta and Garlund with the help of soldiers regained controll of the arena, where mayham had spread through the spectator crowd - stirred up by demons. The two organisers of the arena formally complained about the actions of the Inquisiton as they were not involved in the planned themselves or even informed in advance. Thus they blamed the desaster entirely on the churches of the Lady, the Dawnfather and Duskmother. What followed was political conflict between those three churches and the two that established the arena and yet where not aware of cults acting under their nose. Later that year Jirta was called to return to Rafalquor by the church of Gynebra and leave Eversted to a different priestess.
