Lothar van Brugge, Lord Protector
Coming from one of the most influencial familes of Eversted Lothar was groomed for his early age to aspire to an important role within the kingdom. Trained both as an knight as well as a diplomat he is often seen a useful option for the council when a situation requires a more complex solution.
Lothar is utterly loyal to the Realm, though his loyalty is bound to the council more than to the king or people. This results from his understanding that the council is the lawmaker and based on the constitution protector and servant of the people. He believes that the Realm and its public offices are there to improve the quality of life of those living within the Realm. While he acknowledges that the Realm has issues and shortcommings he sees those as failures of individuals that the system will take care of.
As a stout worshiper of the panteon, his main godess is the Maiden, for he believes in law and order to be the foundation of a better tomorrow.
