Marcello Lichtenstenn, Crossbow Maker
Marcello Lichtenstenn studied engineering at the Royal University of Gnomenheimen. His real interest were crossbows, but not just the technical part. He enjoy engraving them and making them a real pieces of art and Gnomenheimen wasn't a great market for these. Rykthaven on the other hand lured him with adventure and opportunity to earn a lot of money.
Marcello's workshop can be found in Small Town. It has a little front room where buyers can see various crossbows exposed - from simple but well done basic models, to his precious works of art that many noblemen love to buy to brag by displaying them at their homes, wasting the marvelous handywork. Marcello himself accepted that most of clients would either end up dead hunting monsters never gaining enough coin to buy a masterpiece or be too wealthy to actually have to use them.
While courteous to all his clients, the ever busy gnome shows little patience for the average human, especially those who look down on gnomes and dwarfs. This is the reason why he gave up his first shop in the guild district and moved to Small Town after a couple of years. Surrounded by his kin he deals better with his homesickness and while going back sounds confortable, business it too good to pass up in Rykthaven.
