Regina Sparkhammer

Regina spent all her life in the area of Omarim were she also met her future husband Robert Sparkhammer. She always hoped for a pieceful life - as preached by the clerics of the Child - and thus happily married Robert when he finished his service in the army and settled down in Bleuysfield.   While she did help her husband with his smithy she also raised their four children - Eren, Erika, Bran and Paul. Her hopes for a calm life were first shook as Eren decided to leave Bleuysfield to join the church of the Dawnfather. Regina was even more upset when she found out that he wasn't trying to join the clerics of the god of life, but instead the military arm - the Paladin's of the Father.   A few years later she would again be disappointed as her son Bran took up arms and joined the army serving Emil's daughter Laryssa as squire in the campaign against the goblins in the east.   In 437 YoU she would then get the news she feared as Bran came back from a journey to Eversted, still in service of the Realm's army, together with a paladin of the order. The man told Regina and Robert the story of Eren's heroic fight against a champion of a demon which yet resulted in his tragic death. Regina was heartbroken and even more so when Bran picked up his things and marched back into war.     Like many others in the Twin River Lands, by 438 YoU she had enough of seeing their sons taking up arms to fight and die at the far away frontiers of the Realm. Bran had returned back home at that time after facing terrible threats and being celebrated and knighted as a hero of the Realm. But as the young man told stories from the battles at the local tavern and insisted that all of it was important Regina had a hard time coming to terms with the dangers her sons were sent into for interests of nobles that were far away from Bleuysfield.
