Reginald van Ulester, Lord of the Twin River Lands

Reginald van Ulester was considered by many in the Realm of the Middle as an odd lord due to his lack of pomp and very practical nature. Many in Eversted even were amused by his interest in crops and fieldwork, while he showed a complete disregard for fine arts and culture. Yet this very untypical interests were also the reason why the men and women serving the fields of the Twin River Lands loved their lord and many viewed him as one of them.   Reginald could easily have been mistaken for a soft spoken common man when not wearing an armor. He dressed far below his status and even lacked an impressive entourage of mages or elves - something that probably gained him a lot of respect in the Far Lands. Yet those who knew him well enough also knew that he could speak infront of crowds raising them to arms and lead them into battle without any of them ever flinching. While some nobles in the Heartlands or Sand Sea might make jokes about him, those better informed see him as the strong beating heart of the Twin River Lands that enjoys the trust and loyalty of its people.     While he never studied the scriptures he still considers himself a follower of the Child and supports the church in his lands. The Lord of the Twin River Lands is known to avoid conflict when possible, but at the same time be a fiercly loyal man who will stand at the side of friends or those that can rely on his protection.     In 442 YoU he accepted Bran van Sparkhammer as his bannerman granting him the wish of some lands at the southern border of Goldfiylds. He came to respect the young man's views due to the warrior serving the Realm through some extraordinary battles against drow, hobgoblins and demons - thus having seen more of the world than many others. Bran also was trusted by lord Vladusz van Kjonstantin and the lord protector Lothar van Brugge, two of the most powerful men in the Realm. Thus Bran was able to convince lord Reginald that to prevent a civil war in 442 YoU it would be best to support the Far Lands in their strive for independence.
