Little is known about the Mistress who rules the slavemarket of Rafalquor since 281. She always wears a white porcelain mask in public and is surround in myth. Due to the centuries of fullfilling the role many theorize her to be an elf, while others claim its different women taking up the mask while some see her a divine representation of the Maiden ensuring the legitimacy of the trade. Yet contrary to uncertainty regarding her persona there is no doubt when it comes to her factual power.
Any sale of slaves as well as any dispute regarding the contracts or legitimacy of a slave is to be confirmed or decided by her. Nobody can do business involving slaves within Rafalquor without her blessing. Her authority in these matters is also unquestioned by the church of the Maiden as well as the rulers of the city.
Through out the working day she can be found at the slavemarket surrounded by mercenary guards. Regulary she can be also found at social events of the elite of the city.
