Vernar van Kamarant, Lord of Riches
Vernar van Kamarant spent his life in serivce of the Realm of the Middle, maybe even more in service of Eversted - a city he considered the heart of the human civilization. While in his youth he was a respectable knight of the Realm he gained far more reknown for his political and economical aptitude. In 428 YoU he was selected as the 'Lord of Riches' to take charge of the Realm's financial matters.
For most of his time in service his time in service he had an good relationship with the Lord Protector Lothar van Brugge, but as tensions within the Realm rose from 438 YoU he started to complain about the too soft approach towards the Far Lands. As Lord of Riches he demanded from the Lord Protector to send troops to claim the taxes Lord van Kjonstantin of the Far Lands rejected to sent to the Realm's tresury.
In 442 YoU after the announced independence of the Far Lands at the Realm's yearly council meeting, it was Vernar van Kamarant who called for an emergency city council meeting and lead the faction calling for the imprisonment of lord Vladusz van Kjonstantin and his entourage before they could leave the city and ignite a full scale rebellion. Later he blamed van Brugge's agents for the failure of that plan as Bran van Sparkhammer - an man in service of the Lord Protector - spoiled the attempt helping lord Kjonstantin and lord Krahl van Morinth to escape the city.
