Callista Mila-Greysky was born months after of the blood curse fell upon the Darwinfae. Callista was one of few children born during the breeding season. At a young age, Callista was ripped away from her family and chosen to become a priestess of the Church of Pure Blood. For years she studied the art of blood magic and read the doctrine of the Church believing in its tenets wholeheartedly. As Callista grew older he faith weakened, she found it hard to believed that all those Fae who engaged in carnal embrace with other creatures or were a product of such relations were filth. Although as Priestess, Callista would still have to honor her responsibility take those deemed filth and bring them to the Blood Temple. Time would pass children were being born slowly but, She was still being forced to lead fae to the temple. Not understanding she asked a higher priest why this was still going on. The Elder Priest informed her of the actual reason of the temple. It was to drain the blood of the non-pure and full of sin purify it and let it fill the lake at the Blood Altar. In shock, Callista collapsed in grief. Callista spent days in solitude starring at the Temple disgusted and upset, She had never questioned the church until that day.
Callista made a vow to save those who are hunted for who they love. With help from her friend priestess Lavuhn, they help escort Fae to shelter camps in the wild run by rebels. It was at one of these camps that Lavuhn and Callista met the Leader fo the rebels Dahyuha. Together they would go missions escorting fae to shelter areas,Dahyuha would even teach his gift intimate magic to them as the grew closer. Eventually, the three would become lovers and spread the gift of intimate magic,Callista had chosen to teach the art of Consensual Passion and Bondage sex magic.
Over time the 3 would lead nearly half the population our of the capital. However there last night Lavuhn was caught,Dahyuha would sacrifice himself to save her and and the rest of the Fae. After the last mission, Lavuhn would run grow emotional distant and desire the love of Dahyuha, the emotion drove to point were see abused the magic she was taught taking desire from others and making it her own. Callista broken hearted banished her to grieve. the decision caused a schism between the all groups (rebels, Outcast Fae, and converts) Some choosing to follow Lavuhn and other staying with Callista.
Callista and her followers would erect a temple under the guiding principals of Intimate and Sex Magic.
