The Serpents Tail
The sun glistens like reflective scales of a serpent in the water. Bubbles form around rocky reefs protruding from the sea. It is said the the strait was created after the World Serpent brought a rise of sea level after submerging its tail into the North Sea. Sea life flourishes in the clear waters. Walrus and Sea Lions bake in the sun on rock reef surfaces. Fish and other salt water creatures forage for food and hide in the reefs. Ships float past on their way to trade or fish. The smell of salt water pollutes the air.
