Drugs

  • Gnommish Tobacco
    • Cost: 5 sp
    • Addiction DC: 15*
    • Alleviates the frightened condition after 1 minute of smoking. To smoke, an action is used to spark the tobacco and on subsequent turns a bonus action is used to inhale and exhale.
  • Elven Bud
    • Cost: 5 gp
    • Addiction DC: ⁠—
    • Alleviates the charmed condition after 1 minute of smoking. To smoke, an action is used to spark the bud and on subsequent turns another action is used to inhale and exhale.
  • Orcish Sugar Rocks
    • Cost: 5 pp
    • Addiction DC: 20**
    • Gain 10 temporary hit points, advantage on strength checks and saves, and +2 damage with melee weapons for 1 minute after 1 minute of smoking. To smoke, an action is used to spark the rocks and on subsequent turns another action is used to inhale and exhale.
  • Dwarven Morphine
    • Cost: 50 pp
    • Addiction DC: 25****
    • Gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage for 1 minute. Additionally if you are reduced to 0 hit points within that minute, then you don't fall prone or unconscious until the end of that minute. To dose, an action is used to prepare a syringe and a subsequent action is used to inject the morphine.
Roll a Constitution saving throw per dose taken to avoid addiction. If addicted and unable to dose at least once every 24 hours, roll a Constitution saving throw to avoid gaining 1 level of exhaustion. Addiction is cured after 7 successful non-consecutive Constitution saving throws are collected. If another creature is proficient in the medicine skill, it can offer aid on a saving throw allowing the target to roll with advantage.
*Represents the necessary number of consecutive castings of the remove curse spell that can magically cure the addiction.
