What Are They?

These creatures are, put simply, gross, horrific abominations born from the effects of powerful and dangerous magics. Their mere existence proves that Pure Magic is dangerous and must be controlled.

How They Were Created

A few days after the creation of Ysteria, a couple of deer were drawn, seemingly in a trance, to plants and grass surrounded by a blood-red aura and ate them. Almost instantaneously, the sheer potency of the magic transformed the docile creatures into hideous and grotesque carnivorous mutants that ripped apart and drained the blood of anything that dared approach it. Upon seeing these abominations, the four founding witches quickly isolated them in a section of the forest, now infamously known as the Forest of the Beasts, and further barricaded it to prevent them from escaping.
