Discauri
Homeworld of the Marog species, and the capital of the Marogi Sovereignty.
Discauri was a backwater planet with a temperate climate. Its societies were scattered, mostly tribal, but the civilization that would come to inherit the solar system was an Empire spanning 2.1 million square miles of its largest continent. All of this changed with the arrival of the Kaechulugg, the scars of their demonstration of spacefaring power have since become holy grounds in reverence for the species that uplifted them.
The planet has undergone a millennia of change in the span of a few decades, climate and industrial, as the externally progressed Marogi opened themselves to the Kaechulugg and later Soddorom's Empire, exchanging vast sums of resources and leaping thousands of years in technology. The cities of the Marogi are the makings of many studies of exprog species. Of what would happen if an early militarized civilization of a nascent species were immortalized with the technology they could never hope to earn in that age, its most barbaric traits nurtured and maintained by the hand of their handlers. The coliseums of carnal entertainment, the inhuman slave markets, the savagery of its colonizing, all traits most species most grow beyond are given an upgrade.
A cautionary tale of the dangers of the externally progressed by a more advanced civilization with its own agenda.
