Personal history

Dune grew up as an orphan and an urchin in the All-Capitol where he met Winter-Green and Azalea, and the three became fast friends and partners in crime. The troublemaker of the group, Dune usually got the other two caught up in his schemes and games, putting him at odds with Azalea the "responsible" one of the group who would have to bail them out.

His favorite person as Winter, who he likes a ton. They've had an off-and-on thing since childhood, but he still has feelings for her, which have only gotten stronger since she's been away.
He likes Azalea too, as a friend, despite how annoyed he gets with her "nagging" and how she butts in between him and Winter getting closer. Their relationship has become more tense without Winter around, as missing their third amigo has sunk both further in their love rivalry. Dune doesn't think of Azalea as a true rival though, only as a naive girl with a crush who needs a reality check.
Dune is good friends with Spring too, and always stops by the Snuggly Duckling when he gets the chance to check on her and throw a little business her way.
